I'm a big fan of horror slasher movies like this. This one is very slow and has beautiful nature scenes in between kills, but nature's sounds coupled with how slow it is, plus watching it late at night in the dark is a terrible combination. I can not stay awake during this film, it literally put me to sleep every time I try and finish it.

February 11th to Present Day, is now in theaters, I am actually seeing this with my sister and her boyfriend sometime whenever I get a chance.

The effects & stunts are atrocious but the story is brilliant i love this movie

Nice review Lee! I’m Glad you enjoyed it so much. I took my dad, my sister and her partner to see it tonight as they had heard the hype about it. They were all disappointed by the end of it. They were enjoying it up until the supernatural elements started to occur. My dad is a staunch silence of the lambs fan and thought it would have been better as a straight serial killer movie. I really don’t know where I sit with Longlegs. I liked it over all but feel no need to re visit it in the future.

I hated this movie in so many ways but I kinda liked it I thought it’d be interesting but they really nailed the LA characters. It was mostly goofy all the characters were dumb except the two hillbillies. I can say it did hook me but I kinda expected it. The two hillbillies actually seemed genuine but lovable goofballs soon as I heard they were from LA I knew how this was going to go. LA people are some of the most racist, evil, vile, intoxicating, hypocritical and sick individuals but the characters really captured them perfectly. I could even see them making an African American version same white la family but replace the hillbillies with black folks and the ending would make so much more sense. I do hate how the lesbib got away.

Overhyped. Oscar? For this? Absolutely not! I seldom post comments but I have to disagree with this review. This movie is excellent marketing at its' finest. To be placed even in the same neighborhood as 'Silence of the Lambs' and 'Seven' is absolutely insulting to those films. I kept waiting for it to live up to all the praise only to realize I got suckered.

Lee it would be an epic crossover if Ghost Rider a supernatural super hero fought the terrifying undead Horror movie antagonist that controls the Dream Realm that is Freddy Krueger. It would be a very epic battle.

I really did enjoy this movie and Liza played by my girl Katie Holmes she did a good job as the main character in this movie and she was awesome for this role and she was badass as this character too and she sure is so incredibly sexy as hell Lee brother and she is so goddamn gorgeous too and I’m a huge fan of her now ever since Batman Begins 2005 and she did a very good job in that movie too and I loved her to death man and Sean played by Owain Yeoman he did a great job as the side character in this film and he was so awesome for this role and he did a very great job as the father in this movie too and Jude played by Christopher Convery he did a good job too as well and he was so good as the deaf little boy in this movie and he was awesome for that character role too and finally Joseph played by Ralph Ineson he did a great job too but he was barely in this movie tho but he still did a great job when he was on screen though and it was nice to see him in this movie too and can’t believe it’s been 4 years now since this movie came out and it’s insane it’s been that many decades ago and time sure does flies in the movie world that’s for sure and overall I’m gonna give Brahms The Boy II (2020) a 9/10 stars I really did enjoyed this movie but could of been little bit better if it had some nudity for a change and have the movie be little bit longer too but I do prefer this one over than the first film but that’s just me tho Lee in my opinions and thoughts on this film Drumdums brother

I really did enjoy this movie and Greata Evans played by my girl Lauren Cohan she did a great job as the main character in this movie and she was awesome for this role and she sure is so incredibly sexy as hell Lee brother and she is gorgeous too and I’m a huge fan of her now since the walking dead tv show and she did a really good job in that series too and I loved her to death man and Malcom played by Rupert Evans he did a great job as the side character in this movie and he was awesome for this role but he was barley in this movie though but he did a really good job when he was on screen though and Cole played by Ben Robson he did a good job but he was barely in this movie though but he still did a great job as the douchbag asshole in this movie and he did a very good job as that character too and finally Braham played by James Russell he did a great job as the main villain in this movie and he was a creepy doll in this film too and he was very interesting villain in this movie too and I did like the twists at the end though that got me really surprised to see the real Brahms character coming to life and didn’t see that coming at all but it was awesome to see him coming to the real Brahms character though and can’t believe it’s been 8 years now since this movie came out now and it’s almost the 10th Anniversary when this movie came out and that’s insane it’s been that long ago and overall I’m gonna give The Boy (2016) a 7/10 stars I did enjoyed this movie for what it was but could of been little bit better if it had some sexual nudity for a change and have the movie be little bit longer too and didn’t not like that ending that much but that’s just me tho Lee in my opinions and thoughts on this movie Drumdums

So you did a great job with the review! I told some of the scenes with my dad what happens in this movie and he thought it sounded kind of creepy! I saw this movie as well! Going into this blindly having knowing nothing about this movie! I was thinking of this idea for an episode where the main character’s dog gets stolen by two cult leaders who are naked and the cults supports a tree! Also I wanna name the episode “the house of the cult” You can guess what’s that’s a reference to! Also after the main character kills the man cult leader the woman cult leader eats his heart and turns into a creepy angel to kill our main character!

I watched Oddity tonight and it was so creepy and fun. Awesome time!

I really enjoyed Hellfest, I love carnival movies, deffo isn't a bad movie. Friday the 13th Pt.8, again I enjoy this movie it gets shit on a lot but the way I see it, is its a lot better than a lot of slashers I have seen esp the early 2000s low budget with bad acting and was digitally shot OMG, I hate them movies, Im the same as you in the aspect of I dont particularly like PG-13 horror movies (15) in the UK esp if its a slasher (no matter what film, if its a slasher, creature feature, demons, zombies, supernatural ones, I like them to be graphic and bloody.

I’m very late to the party ! I saw this in the cinema when I was about 17 recall really liking it only in recent years finding out it wasn’t that cut that was intended, will definitely be buying this to give it another go, keep up the good work bro love your channel

My mom was born in 1970, so when the Incredible Hulk series aired, she was scared of it. For some reason, the eyes turning green before Banner transforms freaked her out. She never was a horror movie person either, so that probably explains it somewhat, lol.

I totally agree with you. To me, though, i pretend this is NOT a MM Halloween film, but simply a RZ horror film. When seen in that light, this movie is horrifically awesome. When i view this film in the "Halloween" universe, though, this movie is horrible.

It’s not about being wrong. You may have been distracted the first time you saw it, not it the mindset to relax and really watch it. I didn’t like Midsommer at all and then after some time passed, upon a 2nd watching loved it.

Totally agree about the made for tv vibe which is a shame, what I liked about this which you mentioned is that mabius genuinely seemed to have a good time making this that came accross well, and that as a character he actually quite liked what he has become

I’m very damn happy Lee that this is a thrilling science fiction post apocalyptic prequel that succeeds for creating a atmosphere of horror and dread mostly because the terrifying alien antagonists are equal to Xenomorphs except with their own unique bodies and abilities including enhanced hearing for sounds.

Lee it’s priceless that in this intentional meta self aware Horror movie that Robert Englund while dressed as Freddy Krueger on a talk show can get a group of kids excited because it’s common knowledge that Freddy Krueger is a nefarious Horror movie antagonist that has fun torturing teenage victims before violently killing them without remorse.

Movie was trash, plot was trash, horror was trash, protagonists were idiots. Girlfriend was super idiot, boyfriend was ultra idiot and pu$$y asf everything about him. Final deaths were boring.🥱 On a scale of 0-100 it’s a negative 26, like they literally should be paying each viewer $26 to sit through this whole thing

Just watched this last night & enjoyed it overall! Probably the most relaxing slasher movie I've ever seen (w/o it being boring to me). I'd rate it the same as you... Yeah, that "yoga kill" was something special! It felt like Johnny was asking, 'What would Art do in this situation?' That was wince & laughter inducing.

I liked it when I wanted to love it. the atmosphere is great and I love the direction, but I found the story very predictable.

Loved this movie. Have seen 3 horror movies lately, Maxxxine, Longlegs and this and I think Oddity may be my favorite.
